Yacht Hire in Cornwall

Upon application, we will assess your suitability to charter. This is to ensure that our boats are going out in good hands as well as the safety of you and your passengers. We will ask to see any RYA qualifications, previous charter references, logbook and information regarding any prior experience, which we use to determine the suitability of our charter customers.

However, as experienced maritime professionals, we do understand that all Skippers need to start somewhere and are here to offer support to those who are less experienced. We will still go through the vetting process with you but, as long as you have a Day Skipper Practical certificate, preferrably gained with us, then you will likely be able to hire our vessels.

If you would feel more comfortable with a qualified Skipper on board during your charter, then speak to our team. Our sister company, Falmouth Marine Solutions, have a pool of highly experienced skippers who will be able to climb aboard.

As you may expect, during the peak season there is often shortage of yachts for charter in Cornwall so we always advise you book early to avoid disappointment.

Our weekly charters begin from 17.00 on a Sunday, running through to 12.00pm on a Friday. However, we can be flexible so let us know if you require alternative dates and we will do our best to accommodate you.

All of our yachts will be fully fuelled on your collection and we kindly as that they be returned to us fully fuelled. We do offer the option of pre-fuel payment, please speak to our team to discuss this in more detail.

Gas is included in your charter fees.

We require a security deposit of up to £1500 for our insurance to be valid and this will be returned with in 14 days of completion of the charter, providing there was no damage or losses and the boat was returned to us clean and tidy.

A 50% deposit is required with the balance due 6 weeks prior to charter.

A security deposit is required to be cleared in our holding account no later than 4 days before your charter.

Tea towels and pillowcases are provided.

There is an end of charter cleaning fee of £60.00 per boat (compulsory).
Additional bedding package is available at an additional charge (to include duvet set & shower towel).

Beach towels are also available to hire at an additional charge.
